The Nikon is back!

With the house coming along so well, it is finally to the point where the kids can go out with us & it not be so dangerous. Up to this point, there has always been nails, sharp rocks, glass, light fixtures, hardware, metal & other not-so-safe things just about every where you look. I finally got my Nikon back from being cleaned & was thrilled to use it at the new place this past weekend! Love my Nikon & missed it like crazy!

Berkley Boo

Patrick & Zane on the bobcat. Patrick is determined he must have one of these things! He has had to rent one on 2 occasions to do some dirt work & he is like a kid in a candy store when using it! (He has a tractor & it is much cheaper to rent a couple of times a year than to purchase one!) My goofy little man. His shirt reads, "My favorite color is Dirt!" Zayner Bug Berkley wasn't sure whether she wanted to play in the dirt or not. I think Zane made her mind up for her when he put a handful in her hair. Gotta love big brothers! My favorite --- So excited! We are so glad that Spring is finally here! I love everything about Spring: the colors, the warm weather, the cute little Spring dresses, the budding of flowers, sandals, Easter & the preparation of Summer! (Not a huge fan of the Spring showers!)

Mother's Day Out Pictures 2010

The kids attend the Mother's Day Out program at the local First Baptist Church. They just recently had class pictures taken. I was pretty pleased!

I thought Zane's smile really captured his personality!

Berkley Marie Zane Bailey - 4 years 11 months & Berkley Marie - 1 year 10 months

I was very pleased that the photographer was able to get both kids looking at the camera at the same time! I just love these precious little ones! (Not to mention they are beautiful!)

More of the house

The house is coming along quite well! Here are some pictures taken from the beginning of this week. We are looking to move in the end of the week of March 22nd. We'll see! We are so excited!

Driveway complete

Here are the counter tops in all the bathrooms. I thought they turned out beautiful!
Granite color: Colonial Creme Berkley's/Spare bedroom bathroom shower area Counter tops in the laundry room & kitchen are the same color.
I LOVED them too!
Granite color: Imperial Gold Kitchen area Kitchen counter top over the bar. We are really pleased with how well the counter tops went with the rock work. Master bathroom Patrick LOVES the vaulted ceilings & rock fireplace together. He gets all the credit for this beautiful work! It all came together so well. Formal dining area Stone work over the stove Gameroom/Playroom area

Happy Birthday Mommy!

On February 27th, I celebrated my 31st Birthday! We/I kept it low key. On my actual birthday the boys were actually hunting since it was the last weekend of some kind of bird season so a friend & I went to dinner & a movie. The following day, we had dinner & cake with Patrick's parents.

I just adore these little guys!

Petting Zoo Party

A few weeks back (yes, I am WAY behind on blogging), the kids attended a "Petting Zoo & Pony Party" for a friend's little girl. She is really into My Little Pony so it all went together perfectly! The kids had a BLAST! There were all kinds of farm animals there: ducks, rabbits, piglets, baby goats, chickens & roosters. And of course you can't have a My Little Pony party without pony rides! So much fun!

Zane holding a duck.

The poor piglets squealed each time they were picked up! (I don't blame them at all!) Zane holding a rabbit. Berkley was so funny. She is always terrified of things here at the house that talk & move. She cries any time a crawling, crying, walking, or talking baby doll or stuffed animal come her way. But at this party she LOVED the animals. She chased them around screaming with delight, wanting to hold them. She her sweet smile?! Now these baby goats were precious! Loving on a bunny rabbit.

What a wonderful idea and so much fun!
