Today Berkley is a happy HUNTER! She is deer hunting with daddy & bubba for the first time. She left here in her brother's old camo overalls & her pink gun! She's one happy little "Hunter Girl" as she called herself!

The kids finally woke up about 9:00am to see that .....
Santa had arrived!

YAY! Looks like Zane racked up with a basketball goal & Xbox from Santa! Mom & dad hooked him up with a Razor scooter, some transformers, some video games, some board games, & other odds & ends.

Santa brought Berkley a pink 22 & a pink game (DS Lite)! Mom & dad hooked her up with some board games, a couple of baby dolls, some video games, books, a wooden beading set, a walking puppy, & some other odds & ends.

Christmas Eve with Memaw

Christmas Eve is known as one of my most favorite days of the year! Each of my neices & nephews, as well as my own kids, LOVE Christmas Eve at Memaw's house! It is a joy to see each person finding their own little area to dump their stockings out & seeing what they were filled with! FUN! And my mother has always done everything under the sun to make Christmas the very best day of the year for each of us kids! Christmas Eve this year was no "let down", it was a great deal of fun, food, & family time!

Christmas with Papa Jerry

I LOVE Christmas time! I love the joy it brings, the love it brings out in others, the excitement it brings with the little ones, the family time, the food, the simple spirit of the season, Santa, the kid it brings out in each of us, the excitement of giving to others, & teaching my children & others the TRUE meaning of Christmas, the birth of our wonderful Savior!

Christmas time is quality family time around here, family that we don't get to see as often as we like, the ones we love & hold closest to our hearts! We spend one evening with my father (aka Papa Jerry) & his wife (Sherry), one evening with my mother, & then we each spend Christmas Day at our own homes allowing our children to enjoy the new things they have received. I LOVE it! I love each evening, each celebration, each gathering, & each person that attends the events (and since our family is growing so large, a few were greatly missed this year)!
