Kindergarten Graduation

We have a 1st grader! Hard to believe our baby boy has graduated from Kindergarten! We are so proud of Zayner Bug! He is reading, adding, subtracting, & doing really well! He had a wonderful year! We couldn't have made a better decision moving into the Ponder School District. Zane only had 13 kids in his class which allowed him to get a great deal of one-on-one attention! What started out as a rough year of crying each day turned out to be a wonderful experience for our little man!

We are so proud of the progress Zane has made this year! He was a great student & we are so excited to see what 1st grade brings for our little man!

Kindergarten Field Day

Field day is a huge event at Ponder Elementary. Being in Kindergarten, Zane didn't know what to expect. He had a BLAST! I was able to attend the morning events & it was great to see all the fun the kids (& adults) were having!

Mother's Day 2011

On May 6th, the kids & I headed to Aubrey while daddy was at the ranch in Ivan to celebrate Mother's Day with Memaw. We took her out to eat at Mom's on Main in Aubrey & then headed over to her place for a little socializing. Of course before we loaded up in the car to head out, I had a small photo shoot with the kids!

I do not know where I would be without my mother! She raised us kids as a single mother (mind you there are FIVE of us) & I don't think she or anyone else could have done a better job! She worked 3 jobs at times to make sure we had food on the table, clothes on our back, shoes on our feet & a roof over our heads! She made sure we were in church every Sunday & Wednesday to learn the word of God! Again, I cannot think my mother enough for the sacrifices she made in her life to make my sisters & brother the people we are today! I love you mom & appreciate all that you have done for me & my own children!

On April 10th, Marisa Swarbrick took the kids annual photos. I try to have the kids pictures taken every year close to their birthday & then we do family photos in October. Zane was 6 in March & Berkley was 3 in April so April 10th fell between the two dates. We met her at the Pilot Point square. I was beyond pleased with Marisa's work ..... she never fails to amaze me & capture my adorable babies personalities!

It is so hard to believe that my two babies are growing up on me. I remember others telling me how fast the time flies by but you really don't realize it until it is your own. Their personalities are so different! They never fail to make their daddy & I laugh. They are both super smart & their love for each other is precious to watch.
