Proud Parents: April & Eric

Berkley & I couldn't wait to get to the hospital this morning & get our hands on sweet Kaylee! (Well, okay, I couldn't wait to get my hands on her. Berkley ate raisins and played peek-a-boo!) April & Eric have so anxiously awaited the arrival of Kaylee Grace, and she is finally here! I couldn't help but kiss her chubby cheeks & of course, I had to put the camera in her face! I could just eat her up!
CONGRATS April & Eric!

Happy Birthday Sal-bow!
Happy Birthday Sally!
I deeply appreciate your friendship & cherish every moment! Thank you for being there at all times! I love you!
It is hard to believe we are thirty! I remember attending Starr Daycare, elementary school, middle school, high school, SFA & TWU together. I remember all the camping tirps & vacations. I remember prom, graduation, & you being there for the birth of both my children. What a wonderful friend you are! Words seriously cannot explain how much you mean to me. (Zane digs you too! Oh, & don't forget Patrick!) I know at the end of a long day that you will always pick up the phone & will have the right words to say. I thank God for blessing my life with your friendship. And I look forward to what 40 looks like with you by my side! (I'm not rushing 40, trust me!)~Patsi~

A HUGE Thank You to our soldiers for all they do for our country & to make sure we have that American Freedom!~Patsi~
Some QUICK swimming
Zayner "ready" to go!
I finally pushed him in! (Yeah, mean mom!)
Berkley enjoyed splashing her feet. Nothing more!
This is when having a pool in the backyard was so worth it. There is very little preparation so if the kids aren't game after the fact, no big deal! But Patrick is enjoying not having to keep up with pool maintenance!~Patsi~

Justin Fun Days
Our little cowboy

On stage where he decided not to do any "booty shaking" but rather bite his lip.
The kids were asked if they wanted to say something. To our surprise, Zane said, "My name is Zane Cassidy. I am 4 years old (while showing 3 fingers), & I am from here & home."
Waving at the crowd (& chewing his lip).
Zane was announced "Most Handsome Eyes"
And 3rd runner-up for Little Mr. Justin
Here are some of the handsome little cowboys!
My mom, Renae, Jessica & Mark came to watch. Berkley is obsessed with hats. She sees one & thinks she MUST wear it. After putting it on her, she is ALL smiles! Here she is sporting daddy's Pepper Air Conditioning cap & Zane's cowboy hat.

I was quickly reminded, as I watched the mothers of many (most) of the little girls, to why I was not a pageant mom! The boys side was just fine & all went well. Cute little NATURAL cowboys. But man, the girls side ... WOW! Those moms had the little girls dressed to a "t" with extravagant, blinged out, expensive western wear. And boy were they ever coaching those little dolls! Moms would stand in front of the stage, showing/reminding their daughter to swing her hips, blow kisses. twirl, etc. Those girls were shown, by mommy of course, how to walk the stage just perfectly. And the little girls were all for it. Let's just say ... I would never fit in as a pageant mom! But the little girls were very cute, & the judges did a great job of actually showing appreciation for NATURAL beauty!
