Easter 2011

We celebrated Easter at my oldest sister Renae's house. Easter with my mom is almost like Christmas! All of my nieces & nephews, as well as my own two children, LOVE it! I have 20+ year old nieces & nephews that still participate in the egg hunts! We have so much fun!

Easter with Denton County Cowboy Church

Our church, Denton County Cowboy Church, does a HUGE Easter celebration! There are multiple activities for the kids: egg hunts, goat tag, dunking booth, snow cones, bounce houses, musical chairs, face painting, rock coloring, & many more with a family story time & hot dog dinner to end the days events. Just to give you a little idea of how many people in the community participate in this FREE event, in 2010 the youth stuffed over 7,000 eggs with candy! This was the first year we participated & we all had a blast!

Happy 3rd Birthday Berkley Marie!

The Princess of the house is THREE! We celebrated Berkley's 3rd birthday here at our house with family & friends. The kids enjoyed some bounce house fun while the adults enjoyed some fajitas! Berkley was SOOO excited about her ladybug birthday party! She currently weighs 33 lbs. & is 36 inches tall. She will tell you she is a "Daddy girl, mommy girl, & bubba girl!" Her favorite things include: coloring, drawing, stringing beads, playing outside, playing mommy to her babies, puppies & cats, watching Tom & Jerry & Scooby Doo, riding the tractor with daddy, playing board games, singing, & she will ONLY sleep in her crib!

Zane's first t-ball game was in Aubrey. As you all know, most of my family lives in Aubrey so this was great for us. My side of the family got to attend so Zane had a huge group of fans!
