Ponder Lions 1st-2nd Grade F-ball

August 28th, Zane played his very first football game! These boys have been practicing so hard in this Texas heat! The temperatures have been as high as 111 degrees & these boys have been in full pads. Zane has loved every minute of it! And Patrick & I were so very proud of his performance so far. He is having to play on the 2nd grade football team due to only 4 first graders signing up, so he is behind in his skills & fundamentals, but he did great! We are very excited to see what the season has in store for our little football player & his team!

First day of 1st grade!

August 22nd was the 1st day of FIRST grade for Zayner Bug! So hard to believe that my blue-eyed, 8 lb 13 oz baby boy is now a 1st grader! After our horrible start to last year, we are just hoping for a much better start & a great experience for Zane. He knows this year that he has to go more than 2 days a week, which was his complaint & the reason he was so upset last year. We cannot wait to see what 1st grade has in store for him & we can't wait to see all the new things he will learn this year! Go get 'em Bug!

North Texas State Fair

The last week of August, Patrick & I took the kids to the North Texas State Fair & Rodeo. The kids LOVED the rodeo & the rides, of course!
