Princess Berkley is TWO!

As hard as it is to believe, Berkley Marie is TWO! I can't believe our little Princess is two years old. I seems like only yesterday we were bringing her home in her sweet little pale pink dress & pink ruffled socks that swallowed her feet! She is such a joy, & we love every minute of her!

Berkley loves to draw on EVERYTHING! She enjoys climbing on things, even when she knows she isn't supposed to. Her favorite person is her big brother! She wakes up asking for him, & he his the last one she hugs & kisses goodnight. She refuses to go to bed without hugging & kissing mommy, daddy, & Zane. She talks, screams, hollers, & loves to tell her brother to "Hush" or "Shhhh", especially in the car even when it's quite because she knows it drives him NUTS! Berkley does not like toys that are battery operated but she loves to ride toys that she can push with her feet. She loves most animals, but especially cats, dogs, horses, & cows. She loves to be outside! She makes us laugh daily & the little shoulder shrugs are adorable! Weight: 28 lbs. 6 oz. (76%)
Height: 33 in. (53%)
Head: 49.5 cm (93%)
Happy 2nd Birthday baby girl!

Berkley Boo,
Mommy, Daddy, & Zane love you more than words can ever express. You are such a sweet little girl but don't mind standing up for yourself. You have developed such a personality lately! We love watching you grow & seeing all the new things that you learn to do. You are "Our Sunshine"! We love you so very much, B!

We're FINALLY moved!

As of April 9th, we are officially Ponderites! After moving in two weeks ago & seeing that our hardwood floors just didn't "look right", it was determined that we would need to move out for 9 days & allow them to be redone! To make a l.o.n.g story short, we stayed with Patrick's parents for 9 nights & 10 days since our rent house was already rented out & finally moved back into our place on Cartwright Trail on the 9th! And we LOVE it! (And the floors are beautiful!)

As you can see, most everything is put away. We still need to get our wall hangings up, but I have not been in a big hurry to get Patrick to do that because I have been loving every minute of looking around at the beautiful walls & feeling CLUTTER FREE!

Easter 2010

We spent Easter Sunday at my mom's (aka Memaw). We headed to church in Aubrey & then to my mom's for lunch & the big egg hunt. My mom has always made Easter so much fun for the kids. My kids had a blast, & we all enjoyed the time with family.

Berkley Marie in her Easter dress. She picked out this purse herself & loves it!

My babies - I may be partial, but they are beautiful! Zane Bailey Now if this isn't sweet, I don't know what is. Outside Memaw's house The back of Berkley's dress. I finally tied a bow correctly! All the men were hiding eggs & Berkley was getting ready to go hunt. Uncle Jeff explaining the rules. The hunt was on. Taking a break to cheese! Zane's basket was full. Uncle Jeff checking out Berkley's goods. Memaw helping the kids go through their baskets.

Zane figured out this year that Memaw puts "monies" in the eggs too!

Ponder Park

The Ponder Community Park ROCKS! We were told about it when it was still under construction. Saturday was beautiful so after nap time the kids & I went to check it out. Pretty cool! There are several different areas. There is an area for smaller kids ages 2-5 & then the rest of the park is filled with various slides, wings, ropes, monkey bars, walk ways, & even a small climbing wall. There is even a swing for adults! (And yes, I tested it out!)

I blogged about Berkley's facial expressions: Here you have one! Zane was so excited when he found this climbing wall! I am pretty sure we will be spending a great deal of time here this summer!
