Princess Berkley is 10 months old!

On the 17th of this month, Princess Berkley was 10 months old! I say it each month, but TIME FLIES!

Berkley is pulling up & finally has a bottom tooth! She is not big on the bottle, & I have to force her to take 2 a day, some days only getting her to take 1. She isn't walking while holding onto things (yes, I am concerned), & she isn't sure how to get into the sitting position from standing. She just hollers until someone gives in & helps her. She loves to watch the dogs out the back door or window. She has began getting into everything! She doesn't like to be told "No!" She lets out a heart breaking cry or puts her head down to pout! We love her so much! She is still a good sleeper & smiles A LOT! She loves to play in Zane's room & tries to get HIS toys!

Weekend Fun

We attended a birthday party this weekend at Little Gym! Where by the way, is the place to have a kid's party! They do it all: entertain, cut cake, presents, writing, & clean up! The kids had a blast, especially Zane! Happy Birthday Princess Addi & thanks for including us!

Berkley mainly just let daddy hold her & looked pretty! A job well done I might add!

She did play with, well chew on, a ball! And she did a little crawling! Now Zane on the other hand:

Freezed ...... Walked on the balance beam .....
Played with the parachute .... Played with hula-hoops ....

And of course, ate cake!

The house has SOLD!

It looks like the house has been bought! We have to be out on April 10th. We are still not sure what we will be doing but have a few plans in mind. I am a little sad about saying good-bye to Collingwood Drive. We have good neighbors, it is a nice, quiet place to live, but ..... Ponder, here we come! It is exciting, scary, & crazy all the same!

A day at the park ....

Thursday after picking Zane up from Mother's Day Out, I took the kids to the park. This is what I love about Texas weather. It was 74 degrees in February! This was Berkley's first time at the park, & as you will see, she loves to swing!

And of course, Zane climbing He is so cute! Climbing some more More swinging I love my babies! Here are 2 daily reminders that God loves me! Zane wanted to push her & of course that is way cooler than mommy doing the pushing! You think they love one another? He really is a good big brother. My babies. Then Zane wanted to swing in the "baby swing". And he wanted Berkley to swing with him. I am still trying to figure out the new camera. I had the lens/flash set weirdly so some of the pictures were a little "foggy" looking. I hope I got it fixed.

We had a great time! This is actually the first time we made use of the local park.

Another trip to the dentist ...

Yesterday, Zane had his 6 month cleaning. Since I am constantly telling just how ornery he is, I must brag! He did WONDERFUL! He sat STILL the entire time & was so GOOD! I was so proud of my little Bug!

He does have 5 more cavities! This is after having extensive dental work done back in September. I was in dead shock! We brush his teeth like crazy, at least 3 times per day! The dentist asked if Zane went to bed with a cup of juice each night. HECK NO! My kids have NEVER had drinks in their beds, not even bottles! He has to go in on the 18th to have the cavities filled. I was hoping for a high-five on my way out the door, but it didn't happen! Maybe next time!

Another shoot with Zayner Bug

I had a little photo shoot with Zane on Monday. I was trying a few new things with my camera so some of the images are a little blurry. (And Zane's shirt is FILTHY! Please excuse!) But geezzzz, he is a handsome little thing!

Man's (or boy's) Best Friend

They say man's best friend is a dog. Well here is Zane's best buddy, Ace. Zane calls him "Acerman", & these two fight over toys, hug, play chase, & just have plain fun together.

Boys will be boys

Zane is CRAZY about hunting, fishing, running, jumping, swimming, & just being outdoors. Here are some pictures to show you just how boy my little man is!

His indoor hunting set up!

The chair is his stand. All the animals lying around are the ones he already shot, & he is waiting for more. He has several guns to use for the various animals he's hunting!
This is Zane's hunting area. He ask every day if I will go outside with him so he can hunt. This is just an area of trees in our pasture. (Yeah, I'm country, who says "pasture"?)

It amazes me that Zane can sit in the deer stand for several hours at a time. And he is QUIET & still when there. He has made every hunting trip with Patrick this year. The kid digs hunting! Patrick has had to set one of the dog's beepers up on Zane so he can keep track of him due to Zane roaming & trying to do his own bird hunting while out with the guys. He strays a little, then catches right up! And boy, does he know how to tell some true, & exaggerated, hunting tales!
