Zane got one!

Zane got his first deer! He was not too excited at first because it was a doe rather than a buck but after some talking with daddy, he's pumped! Someones bringing deer meat to the freezer! This kid lives for hunting! I was so excited for him when I got the text message from Patrick letting me know he got one! Love this boy & so glad his hard work & patience has paid off!

Our Handsome 1st Grader

Zane has had a great start to 1st grade! We are so proud of his accomplishments so far & we are not even to the Christmas break yet! Check out our handsome little man!

Fall 2011 - 1st grade

School: Ponder Elementary School
Teacher: Mrs. Jonas
Strengths: Zane's handwriting is the neatest handwriting of any 1st grader his teacher has ever seen! He seems to be very strong in Math. He does most of his homework with little to no help at all. I cannot tell you how proud we are in his reading. He started out reading at a level 3/4 & he is currently reading at a level 9! He has made a 100 on all his spelling test except 1 in which he made a 90! Not only handsome but smart too!

Happy Halloween 2011

Halloween 2011 consisted of trunk-or-treating on October 30th & then trick-or-treating in our neighborhood on the 31st. Lots of fun & too much candy, but a handsome Darth Vader & a darn cute princess ladybug!

Trunk-or-treat is an event put on by the local churches. Volunteers decorate their trunks & pass out candy. Great event & tons of kids & community members turn out!

This year Patrick got the Mule out for us to ride around the neighborhood & do our trick-or-treating. This was the 1st year we have went door-to-door in our own neighborhood & we had a great time!
