Swimming Fun @ Aunt Rae's!

Dang, we miss our pool! Zane had been bugging me to take him to Aunt Rae's & Uncle Jeff's house to swim. It was our first "pool swim" of the summer! Of course, Zane is like a fish in the water, swimming all over, jumping in & out, etc. Berkley is a little more cautious. She started out with the "Help me!", "Hold me!" stuff. Kenzie, Carlee, & myself took turns packing her around the pool. And then out of the blue she said, "Down mom, down." I put her in the water, & she swam around in her floaties the rest of the time. It was WONDERFUL! I love that my kids enjoy the water, especially during the summer!

Memorial Day 2010

We spent Memorial Day playing outside in the water. The kids started out in the sprinkler & then we all ended up at Lake Ray Roberts.

It was our first time this summer to take the boat out. Berkley was not much fun to be around, as she screamed 1 hour & 45 minutes of the 2 hours we were out on the water. We aren't sure if she was scared, tired or just not liking it period. We are hoping she does better next time, or it might just be a L.O.N.G. summer!

Zane makes himself at home. As we were transferring things from the boat to the truck, I was even able to get his life jacket off of him without waking him up!

Mutton Bustin' at DCCC

We have been attending the Denton County Cowboy Church here in Ponder for sometime now. About twice a month, they have Play Days. The kids LOVE the play days, as they consist of various rodeo events for the kids to take part in. Zane did the Mutton' Bustin' for the first time & LOVED it!

He enjoyed it so much that when we pulled up to church yesterday morning he said, "Yay, am I going to ride a sheep today?" He was bummed to learn that it was not a Play Day Sunday.

Party at Park

The kids attended a birthday party for a friend of mine's little girl. The party was held at a small park that was perfect for the kids to run & play. Needless to say, my kids had a blast!
