Meet Sassy

It looks like we are in the pony business! When we picked up Zane's pony, Butter, from Aunt Nae's house last week, Berkley asked her, "Aunt Nae when are you going to buy me a pony?" (I had no idea she even asked this.) Two days later, Aunt Nae called to tell me she was headed to pick up Berkley's pony!

Meet Sassy

Berkley LOVES horses! And she sure loves Sassy!Berkley would lead Sassy around all day if she could. She is going to be the horse lover in the family. It's Game time!

Today was Zane's first ever basketball game! He did AWESOME! He was a ball stealing machine. He scored one basket & was awarded the defense star!

Playing defenseHalf-timeRebound!Way to go Gators! Great game! I am so glad we signed Zane up in the Upward program! We are loving it! It is such a great environment for the kids, coaches & parents! Each week the kids are given a Bible verse to memorize & they receive an iron-on star for their t-shirt sleeve for remembering & saying the verse. All the games are played at the First Baptist Church in Justin. It has been a great experience so far!

Butter is HOME!

You my remember Butter, Zane's pony his Aunt Nae got him for his 3rd birthday. Butter has been living at Aunt Nae's house since we have not had a barn & had sold our old home to build the new one. We recently bought 100 acres around the corner from our house that has a 4 stall barn so Butter is home! We have 2 excited kids who are in love with him! (Poor Butter! I'm not sure he knows what is REALLY in store for him with these Cassidy kids!)

Basketball Goal

Zane is playing basketball in the Upward basketball program at First Baptist Church in Justin. He is super excited! He has started practicing with his team & now Daddy has put his basketball goal together from Santa so he can work on his moves at home too!

Today Berkley is a happy HUNTER! She is deer hunting with daddy & bubba for the first time. She left here in her brother's old camo overalls & her pink gun! She's one happy little "Hunter Girl" as she called herself!

Christmas Day 2011

The kids finally woke up about 9:00am to see that .....
Santa had arrived!

A tired little girl

YAY! Looks like Zane racked up with a basketball goal & Xbox from Santa! Mom & dad hooked him up with a Razor scooter, some transformers, some video games, some board games, & other odds & ends.

Santa brought Berkley a pink 22 & a pink game (DS Lite)! Mom & dad hooked her up with some board games, a couple of baby dolls, some video games, books, a wooden beading set, a walking puppy, & some other odds & ends.
