Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, my cousin joined us with his two children for church & then time at my mom's house. Zane & Ramey Mae are only a week apart, & together they are like twins ... friends one minute & fighting like cats & dogs the next. She holds her own, that's for sure! It was nice to have them & I think they had a great time!

Easter at my mom's is always a big hit! My mom prepares for quite some time, stuffing eggs, getting lottery tickets, money, candy, toys ... you name it, these kids get it! We always meet up after church for lunch & Easter festivities!

After lunch & Easter festivities at my mom's we headed to Patrick's mom's house to do some egg hunting with his nieces & nephew.

 Easter is always a great time with family for us! We love to celebrate the TRUE meaning of Easter ... HE has RISEN! I am glad that my kids enjoy going to church & learning the great things that Christ has done for all of us! Happy Easter to all of you! 

DCCC Easter Fun Day

Denton County Cowboy Church always puts on an Easter Fun Day event. This is one of our outreach programs to the public. It is a HUGE event and always a great success! There are egg hunts for all ages, rides, games, dunking booth with the preacher as the victim, story time told by the pastor, dinner, snow cones, pie eating contests, etc. and it's all FREE!

 A fun day of fellowship and worship! We love our church and the message it sends. What a great time! He has RISEN!

Zane's 7th Birthday Party

We celebrated Zane's 7th Birthday at the Ponder Park. It was a beautiful day for a birthday party! Great weather, not too hot & just beautiful! I think all the kids & adults had a great time! Zane had a blast & greatly appreciated all of those who came out to celebrate his special day with him!

Zane - Mommy, Daddy & Berkley love you more than you will ever know! You are so smart! You have learned so much between 6-7 years of age. You can now read an entire book from front to back. You still love to hunt & fish. This year you have really enjoyed sports. You are a great team player. You participated in football, basketball & coach pitch baseball. You show great potential in all & we look forward to watching you grow & seeing the path you choose. This year for your birthday you have asked for Legos! You love to play the XBox 360 & the Wii. You love to hang out at the farm, riding horses, playing in the dirt, riding the tractor, & just simply being outdoors. Zane Bailey we love the little boy you are! You are very strong-willed but yet so very loving! Happy 7th Birthday Zayner Bug!



Birthday Picture!

I normally get the kids birthday pictures taken by Marisa Swarbrick Photography but this year, I flat ran out of time! So over Spring Break I ran the kids up to Portrait Innovations & got a quick picture taken of the two of them. I was pretty pleased!

Zane turns 7 on March 28th & Berkley turns 4 on April 17th. It is so hard to believe that my babies are growing up so very fast! I remember being told that time flies when you have little ones & I didn't truly know what it meant until they got here! It seems like only yesterday we were bring our baby boy home from the hospital & now he's just days away from 7 years old, teaching his little sister everything he knows! Dang, I sure love these beautiful babies & I cannot thank God enough for choosing me to be their mommy!

Zane's class had a Valentine's Day breakfast. Very cute heart-shaped pancakes, bacon, fruit, etc. Then they played a really cute math game with candy. We just love his teacher, Mrs. Jonas!

I didn't even get pictures this morning of the kids opening their Valentine's gifts from Patrick & I. Zane was really excited that he got a seek-n-find tube game, a Star Wars book & a Devotional Bible Study book. Berkley thought her little kitty in her purse was really cute & loved her puppy book & her Devotional Bible Study book as well. We normally do candy but I figure they get enough candy at their school parties that they are good & sugared up without our help.

Happy Valentine's to our sweet little loves! Mommy & Daddy love you more than you will ever know! You are both so special in your own ways, always making us laugh over the funny & ornery things each do. We love that you each adore the other as well! Happy Valentine's Day Zayner Bug & Berkley Boo!

Circus Fun

The Picadilly Circus came to the Denton area. The kids & I went with Lerae & Jeff & their kids. It was a great deal of fun! The kids got to experience an elephant ride, which was an awesome experience!

100th Day of 1st Grade
